The best exercise to lose weight: Busted

There isn’t one single exercise that you can perform which will help you to lose weight. Instead, we need to look at exercise an important tool alongside a solid nutrition plan to help aid us in transforming our body.

The idea of that there is ‘one single trick to build your abs in 10 days’ or to ‘Lose belly fat’ isn’t possible – building some muscle happens over time and there is no way to reduce fat from just one area, it has to come from all over the body.

However – the best exercise for YOU to lose weight is something you can perform over a long period which you can enjoy and feel the amazing health benefits from. Exercise doesn’t always mean you have to go to the gym – it could mean going swimming, or simply taking a walk in the park for an hour.

It could also be a variety of different activities, for example going to the gym a few times a week to train with weights and on different days cycling or walking to and from work.

The reason enjoyment is such a large factor in the activity we do is because when we enjoy something, we tend to want to do it more often and for a long time – which brings us back to building a successful healthy habit. Once this activity is solidified as a habit, we are more likely able to keep the activity consistent and even gradually progress it over time.

Remember exercise and nutrition isn’t just a short term scheme in order to lose some weight – it is a lifestyle solution from which you are able to reap the rewards from every single day, so that you can look and feel great.

Part of my mission is to make sure that people I work with to achieve their fitness goals are educated enough that they can continue their journey without needing me.

I take pride in being able to give my clients the push they need to get where they want to be in terms of health and fitness.

Embedded in my ethos is the desire to inspire my clients to want to be their best selves, without that, there is no reason to do what I do.

Why work with me?

I am not a salesman. Unlike many Personal Trainers in Essex, I care deeply about my clients progress and want to help get results quickly.

Personal training isn't about shouting at someone to make them exercise. For me it's about the ten years experience and knowledge I have behind me, which allows me to educate clients on how to quickly get where they want to be.
