Throughout our training journey there are a number of reasons we can identify alongside working with you that would make you want to change your fitness programme.
One of the reasons it may be necessary to change our training routine is when we become bored of our current routine. Boredom in a routine may happen from time to time and it may be just the tool needed to spark some change and ignite the motivational fire to enjoy training again. As trainers, we can help work with you to ensure you have plenty of variation in your sessions whilst keeping your goals in mind so that you can work hard whilst getting enjoyment out of each session.
Similarly, we may find times when we are unable to progress on our current training routine or are stagnating with our training. Alongside our team we can help identify and implement specific ways to keep you progressing, as well as providing you with the education so that you understand how to change things when needed – by educating you with the knowledge, this can also help boost your confidence and become self-sufficient in the gym! It may something as simple as a small tweak to the exercise, or it may be changing our routine or type of training for a while.
Another big reason we may change our programme is due to us changing our goals. The training we provide to you is both individualized to your needs and also your goals, so if you decided to want to train differently or perhaps have an event in mind you would like to train for, we will ensure your training meets these requirements in a safe and effective manner.
The last reason we may change our programme is if we are currently suffering from an injury. Once you have been cleared by a specialist, such as a physiotherapist or doctor – we can then change your fitness programme to take into consideration how best to work around the injury. This again ensures that we are able to work in a safe and effective manner to help you reach your goals and feel great!
